Christmas Trees – We offer a variety of beautiful choose and cut Christmas trees.  Scotch Pine are up to 12 feet (any size $45), Norway Spruce up to 10 feet (any size $55) and Blue Spruce up to 8 feet (any size $65).  We will greet you at arrival, give you a helpful handout and bow-saw, and point out the layout of the tree field.  Then you and your family can enjoy a leisurely stroll through our 5 acre tree field until you have found the perfect tree!  A few hand-made measuring sticks are available if needed, but it might be a good idea to bring a tape measure if you want to be more precise.  At the request of our customers, we also purchase a few Fraser Fir trees, which we cannot grow well in this climate.  The Fraser Fir are harvested from a lovely little Christmas tree farm nestled deep in the Appalachians, and delivered right before Thanksgiving to insure the freshest tree possible; Fraser Fir prices are $60 for a 6’ to 7’ tree and $70 for a 7’ to 8’ tree.  You may choose to have your tree baled (netted).  We also provide twine for tying the tree onto your vehicle, and have a few young helpers that will happily lend a hand.  Though not expected, the kids light up brighter than Rudolf’s nose at even the tiniest tip!

We do not offer balled or rooted trees, which can be a very destructive process, requiring heavy diesel-powered digging equipment and leaving huge craters of loose, uneven soil in fields, making replanting difficult.  The dead of winter is also not the ideal time to re-plant a large tree once it has been subjected to warm indoor temperatures for weeks, which takes the tree out of its natural state of dormancy.  Getting a rooted, rather than cut tree is certainly an option, but should be purchased from a nursery and accompanied by expert advice on care and replanting.  Loudoun Nursery in Purcellville is an excellent source for container grown trees.

 Wreaths – We ship in the freshest, thickest, most beautiful balsam wreaths available…handmade in White Top, Virginia.  There needle retention is beyond excellent!  I take great pride in making bountiful bows with the finest wire rimmed ribbon, then decorating with an assortment of ornaments and trimmings. Each wreath is unique and will surely be a welcoming sight to family, friends and visitors over the Holidays.  Wreaths come in 2 sizes:  20” wreaths are $28-decorated/$20-undecorated; and the 30” wreaths are $38 – decorated/$26-undecorated.  Comparable wreaths from popular catalogs (although not as pretty J) are priced much higher, even prior to additional shipping charges. 

Handcrafted Soap – Our soaps really are a delight to see, smell and use!  They are made with nothing but quality ingredients and are glycerin based, a gentle humecterant that keeps skin soft and hydrated.  Shea butter, another key ingredient, protects skin against weather, sun and aging, making your skin smooth and supple.  Silk amino acids are added to provide a protective barrier and silky feel to skin. 

Each soap comes with your choice of a beautiful organza bag with satin ties, in an array of colors.  You can even use the back of our label tag as your gift tag…no wrapping necessary!  They make GREAT GIFTS for friends, family, co-workers, teachers, instructors…even yourself…and are perfect for just about any occasion.  They’re also the perfect “tuck away” gift to keep handy.  Individual soaps are $6 each, but if you BUY 3, GET ONE FREE!!!

We also have a lovely collection of gift bags and baskets with soaps containing Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, which make an exquisite and meaningful present for just about anyone on your list, and range from only $12 to $20.

Cinnamon Scented Pine Cone Bags ($6) &
Wax-dipped Pine Cone Fire Starter Baskets ($10 to $20 ) – We turn our gathered pine cones into your choice of two great gifts.  The first are simply pine cones infused with cinnamon spice fragrance oil placed in a festive red bag…another inexpensive gift . They can be left in the bag or arranged in a bowl, and the cinnamon scent will spread Christmas cheer throughout the home!  We also take some of the cones and hand dip each one in beeswax and paraffin to use as terrific fire starters!  The wax dipped cones come in a variety of baskets, and cost less than half of similar items at specialty stores.
 

Yule Logs ($15) - We make these using fallen trees and greenery clippings from our property, then center a candle, decorate and add a parchment tag explaining the history of the Yule Log.  They add a lovely traditional touch to any fireplace hearth or porch.
